1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
1 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (optional, for extra flavor)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce until smooth.
Add Seasoning: Stir in the Old Bay seasoning if using, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together.
Serve: Serve the mustard sauce alongside your chilled stone crab claws. Enjoy!
Tips:
Feel free to adjust the ingredients to your taste; you can add more lemon juice for acidity or more hot sauce for a kick.
The sauce can be made a day in advance for even better flavor. Just store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
